I would like to start off by saying that it is a surprise to see someone leave such a bad review on here. First off I retained Mr. Dosh when I started a divorce and my case was very complex and kids were involved. Aaron was very compassionate towards me and my children and thanks to Aaron I still retain ownership of my home and have my two kids 50/50, only because of Aaron this was obtainable. This negative review I'm reading is obviously lacking any merit there is definitely more to the story that is left out. At the end of the day the only reason why we get divorces are because of our own poor life decisions we make. As far as Aaron's staff, they are all super knowledgeable and get stuff done so I urge you readers to read between the lines and definitely give Aaron a shout if you happen to need a great attorney.

So I had just found out that all the time and effort I had put in to my child support case had not been filed properly on Friday with hearing scheduled Monday morning. I have no money for an attorney and just needed to ask a few questions. I had not retained an attorney and just stopped by Mr Dosh's office to see how much I needed to pay for a few questions? I was told 1/2hr consult would cost me $100., which isn't too outrageous but that's all the money I had. I asked if I could possibly pay $50? but the secretary denied request. I again called later that day begging for a short time at $50... again denied by secretary. Then, by some small miracle, Mr Dosh phoned me back, stating he had heard my pleas and although he doesn't normally do this, would offer a bit of advice at no charge! GOD BLESS YOU, good to know there are still good people in the world and I thank you for your kindness!!!!

I am beyond pleased with this office! To put into perspective I have had two prior experiences with law offices that were from what I was told "typical". The most recent one was paid a retainer to just look over the paperwork I filled out myself and returned to them; after a few back and forth emails and a phone conversation I had found out the whole retainer was spent. Out of spite I went to Aaron and within the same day of the appointment with him his office: filled out the documents for me, mailed the documents to the courthouse and once returned served my daughter's mother the paperwork for a third of the retainer fee from the other office in Rocklin that accomplished zero in moving towards a court date. I am not looking forward to court or the drama surrounding it but it seems the right choice in a law office can make the situation less painful. I do not review on Yelp often but this was a pleasure since the comparison to the last office was so night and day.

My search for an attorney who could clearly and fairly represent my legal issue in El Dorado county was not easy. I visited several attorneys, each who cautioned me to "shop" Ron Dosh so he couldn't fight against me. It gradually dawned on me it might be in my best interests to have this attorney on MY side...it was one of the best decisions I have made. Ron Dosh is brash, outspoken, incredibly quick with repartee and equally quick with criticism. If you, the client, have erred you will soon hear about it with no holds barred. The saying "He doesn't suffer fools gladly" was written for him. This is no secret,.He will tell you this the first meeting should you be fortunate enough to have him take you on as a client. As time passed other qualities, far more subtle and certainly not blatantly "advertised" by him became apparent. There was the time when he was double booked. He had a choice. He could go to my hearing or go to a very lucrative deposition in Sacramento. He didn't "pawn me off" on an associate, rather he honored his commitment to me because he knew how important his presence was in my case. I guess he lost a lot of money that day but he certainly proved himself to live by ethical, honorable values. He told me at our initial meeting that I would learn how to manage the case, become independent and able to stand on my own two feet. All this has come to pass. At that time his high expectations seemed unrealistic. It never would have happened if he held my hand, patted me on the head and submitted a fat bill for services rendered. His predictions have all come to pass. He has been honest with me every step of the way. Honesty, integrity, high expectations to succeed...hmmm doesn't sound like your typical lawyer does it? That is because he goes against any stereotype you may have about lawyers...and I can't imagine anyone better in my corner fighting the good fight.
